James McPherson’s practice includes real estate law, wills and estate planning, corporate and commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and insurance defence. 

James is a graduate of McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree which he earned in 2014. Knowing he had a passion for studying the law, he went on to obtain his Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) in 2018 from the University of Leicester in England.

James has summered at Sullivan Festeryga LLP on and off since 2013, He joined the firm as an Associate in 2021 after completing his articles with the Firm.  

James is a member of the Hamilton Lawyers’ Association and attends annual Hamilton Lawyers’ Club events. He enjoys working in the Hamilton area because of the community of lawyers that make up the Hamilton Bar.

His personal interests include golfing on a variety of courses, weightlifting and summers spent at the cottage in Wasaga Beach.
