Krissy’s practice is focused primarily in insurance litigation, small claims matters, immigration, and criminal law. She was called to the Bar in June 2020 after completing her articles with the Firm last year. Krissy graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in French and Folklore, then graduated from both the University of Windsor (J.D) and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (J.D.) in 2019.

As a passionate human rights advocate, Krissy appeared before the Immigration Court and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement as an advocate for immigrants and refugees in Detroit, Michigan, during her law school experience. She won eight asylum claims in her last semester of law school alone! She is also an avid animal rights advocate and worked with the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund in Detroit, Michigan.
Having lived in France and Ireland Krissy’s grasp of French and Gaelic is impressive and she has also studied Spanish, Latin, AND Italian. In her spare time, you can find her exploring the city of Hamilton, playing with her Chihuahua named Eva, taking in a yoga class (online), or simply extending her knowledge of craft beer with friends.
