Prior to joining Sullivan Festeryga, Mike worked as a summer student for a boutique firm specializing in employment, labour, and human rights law. Mike continues to build on his experience in these areas, assisting employees, unions, and employers with their legal needs, including navigating wrongful dismissal and workplace discrimination claims, and drafting employment agreements and policies.
Mike believes in adopting a proactive approach to workplace issues, and aims to save his clients time and costs wherever possible by anticipating legal risks before they arise and taking steps to mitigate the same.
Outside of the workplace, Mike enjoys all things music. Mike learned to play the drums at a young age, and has enjoyed performing with various local bands at venues around Hamilton and the GTA.
