Practice Areas

Sarah T. Gulas (B.Sc. Hons, M.REM, J.D.) was called to the Bar in 2021 and exclusively practices family law. Sarah has a strong reputation as a compassionate and driven advocate for her clients. She handles family matters including separation and divorces, parenting issues, support, and adoptions.

Sarah completed her articles with Sullivan Festeryga LLP and gained experience in civil litigation, estates, personal injury, and real estate law. She uses this experience to inform her family law practice, which often intersects with other areas of law.

Sarah then developed her family practice at a local boutique family law firm, practicing exclusively in family law and gaining experience in complex litigation and high conflict matters.  She has since returned to Sullivan Festeryga LLP to continue her family law practice.

Sarah completed her Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Windsor Law School. As a law student, Sarah worked for the Community Legal Aid Clinic where she represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice. She also spent a semester working full-time at the Legal Assistance of Windsor clinic, where she performed legal services for the community of Windsor.

Prior to law school, Sarah completed her Masters in Resource and Environmental Management at Dalhousie University and her Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at McMaster University. Sarah’s undergraduate and graduate research has been published in the Journal of Marine Policy as well as the Journal of Animal Behaviour.
