Ian joined Sullivan Festeryga LLP as an articling student in the summer of 2023 and returned to the firm as an Associate after his call to the bar in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Ian graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law. Ian later attended Western University’s Faculty of Law and graduated in the spring of 2023.

Ian strives to provide quality service to his clients through building close interpersonal relationships and his keen focus on detail-oriented work. His goal is to find a solution for his clients that is cost-effective, timely and just.

Ian’s prior legal experience has allowed him to assist in serving a wide array of clients across multiple fields including insurance defence law, personal injury law, landlord and tenant disputes, criminal law, and civil litigation.

Ian’s primary practice areas are insurance defence litigation, personal injury litigation, as well as wills and estates.

Outside of his work as an Associate, Ian is passionate about music, sports, and ancient history. Ian has been playing guitar for many years and is an avid viewer of football, basketball and hockey. Ian also enjoys spending time outdoors and makes sure to set aside at least one weekend per year for a camping trip.
